A Different Perspective on Real Estate Media.
I’m Silvan Engert, the founder and photographer behind Pacific Property Media, a San Diego-based creative studio specializing in architectural photography, cinematic video, and luxury real estate marketing.
I started Pacific Property Media in 2019 at just 19 years old, driven by a passion for photography, filmmaking, and storytelling. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a business built around one simple idea: great properties deserve more than ordinary marketing.
Originally from Maui, Hawaii, I grew up surrounded by incredible landscapes, architecture, and a lifestyle deeply connected to the outdoors. That background continues to influence how I approach my work today. I’m drawn to natural light, thoughtful compositions, beautiful design, and the little details that make a place feel special.

I believe the best real estate media doesn’t just show what a property looks like. It captures what it feels like to be there.
Whether I’m photographing a coastal home in La Jolla, creating a cinematic property film in Del Mar, or capturing the architectural details of a home in Rancho Santa Fe, my goal is always the same: create imagery that tells a story, evokes emotion, and helps a property stand apart.
My work blends technical precision with a more editorial, lifestyle-driven approach. Every image and every frame is created with intention, balancing architecture, natural light, composition, and atmosphere.
A More Personal Approach.
I’ve never been about booking as many shoots as I can. I keep my team small: me and a trusted partner. When there’s a shoot I can’t personally get to, or a big project needs extra help, I bring in a third pair of hands. Every job is personal.
Quality over quantity, always.
I’d rather take on fewer projects and give each one the time it deserves, from planning the shoot to the final edit. That way your content never feels rushed, and never feels like just another job on my list.
That’s how I started this business, and it’s not something I’m willing to trade for more bookings.
